Kriya Sharira department, UG, PG students, with interns had actively participated in Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan - A National Campaign drive from 26th Nov to 25th Dec 2024.
During this campaign faculties and students had conducted Prakriti Parikshan Camps at vicinities of New Vidya Nagar and Vidya nagar in various schools, colleges, hostels, surrounding local areas for determination of Prakriti and spreading awareness of the same.
Nearly more than 12000+ Prakriti Parikshan were done during this campaign of 1month.

Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga department of GJPIASR and SGPAH&MH conducted 20th session on Garbha Sanskar and Pre-Conception Care on 16th November 2024. 9 patients, along with 13 others, benefited from this informative session, where 6 intern doctors were also educated on the same topic.
All were introduced to the Ayurvedic concepts and significance of pre-conception care, including topics like designer babies, epigenetics, and Rajaswala Paricharya (care during menstruation).
Further, the session covered comprehensive aspects of Garbha Sanskar, such as trimester-wise guidelines on Yogasana, Pranayama, and proper dietary and lifestyle practices (Pathya-Apathya Aahar and Vihar) during pregnancy. Additionally, the importance of Garbha Samvad (communication with the unborn), Mantra Therapy, and Music Therapy were discussed to promote a healthy and holistic pregnancy journey.

Students from all batches took active participation in the competition with the theme “Women Empowerment” and performed strong messages giving Solo performances, Drama and ramp walks educating on gender sensitization, domestic violence, and others. Also, all the female staff of G.J.P.I.A.S.R. And S.G.P.A.M.H along with all female interns and PG scholars actively participated in game activities and celebrated women’s day with fun and enthusiasm on the same day.

The Department of Kriya Sharira conducted a Kidney Awareness Program on the eve of World Kidney Day on 9th March 2023, at the 3rd Floor Academic Block from 11 am to 1 pm. Students of 1st BAMS of Academic Batch 2021-22 and 2022-23 participated in the said event. Students presented various presentations on different aspects of the Kidneys, which benefitted nearly 200 individuals, including teaching staff.
