Dravyaguna Department (Pharmacology & Pharmacognosy)

Introduction
This Department mainly deals with understanding the pharmacotherapeutic properties of herbs useful in medicine and food as well as their application in maintenance of health and to cure various disease conditions.
Aim
• To impart the knowledge regarding the fundamentals of Dravyaguna.
• To develop plant identification skill.
• To explore the Therapeutic spectrum of Herbs.

• Identification of herbal drugs mentioned in classical texts.
• Application of herbal drugs in maintenance of health.
